LancasterChorale honors the United States armed forces! We remember the valor of brave heroes who defended the homeland in past conflicts, honor the men and women who presently work to secure our American freedoms, and memorialize the sacrifice of those who perished in battle. The program features American music and includes poignant arrangements of folk songs, folk hymns, spirituals, and concert works to commemorate Memorial Day. Heartrending poetic readings and well-known patriotic songs with which to sing along are folded into the performance. With sincere gratitude, LancasterChorale joins the community in celebrating those who protect “…our native land”.
