We are delighted to welcome back the Callisto Quartet, the quartet-in-residence at the Music at St. Mary Concert Series. Praised for their “intensity and polish” and hailed as one of the most compelling young ensembles on the international stage, the Callisto Quartet brings a rare combination of youthful energy and artistic maturity.

On this occasion, they join pianist Orlay Alonso for Beethoven’s masterful Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 16. This work, both grand and intimate, showcases Beethoven’s genius for weaving piano and strings into a single, vibrant conversation.

It is a joy to have the Callisto Quartet return to St. Mary’s, where their artistry has already left an indelible mark on our audience. Their collaboration with Orlay Alonso promises an evening of depth, brilliance, and musical camaraderie not to be missed.
